A small Roman Head of a Child, ca 1st century AD

carved in the round, the sweet oval-shaped face with small pursed lips, and almond shaped eyes, her wavy hair parted at the center and swept back into a chignon above the nape of the neck.

Condition: Intact, with minor wear to the left eyebrowl.  Museum quality custom mount.  A charming piece.
