A Pair Roman Grape Cluster earrings, ca. 1st century BC/AD

each earring comprising a cluster of four columns with two hollow spheres a suspension loop above, all of high karat gold and attached to later 18K gold earring wires.

Dimensions: Length:  1 7/8 inches

Provenance:  Private NYC collection, acquired from Taisei Gallery Collection auction, Nov. 1992.

Condition:  Expected dents to the spheres but otherwise in good condition.   Lightweight and easy to wear.
