Three components from Roman pin tumbler locks. Egyptians created the prototype for this lock type, using wooden pieces, and the Romans adapted the concept to make the locks stronger in steel.

Dimensions: Max. length: 8 cm (3.14 inches), Min. length: 4.7 cm (1.85 inches)

Condition: With minor surface loss, overall intact and in very good condition.

Provenance: Alex Mallory collection, acquired in the 1970's-80's.
