A Luristan Bronze Dagger with Bone Inserts, Neo-Babylonian Period, ca. 542 BCE

With a long triangular tapered blade, a thick tapered hilt and crescent-shaped pommel that retains most of the original bone inserts. A very interesting piece!

Condition: Scattered blue-green and brown surface patina, some minor ancient blade edge chips, otherwise intact and in excellent condition overall. Custom mounted.
