A Levantine Clay Oil Lamp, ca. 4th - 5th century CE

Classified as Beit Natif type, mould-made, of elongated ovoid shape with sharp carination, large filling and wick holes, a raised rib pattern around the shoulders that bleeds into a triangle pattern at the nozzle,  a stub-handle at rear, sitting on a base ring.

Dimensions: Length: 3 inches (7.72 cm)

Condition: Intact and in excellent condition overall.

Provenance:  Private Virginia collection, acquired in the 1990s and then by descent.
