of carved steatite, the domed seal with raised central drill-hole and radiating lines to both sides, the base with deep incised impression of a wolf, head raised to the sky as if howling.

Dimensions: Length: 1 1/8 inches (2.9 cm)

Condition: Intact and in good condition overall, museum quality custom mount.

Provenance: Private NYC collection, acquired from Ariadne Gallery, NYC in the 1990's.
