Pottery oil vessel with a graceful, rounded body, red-figure painted with a central winged Eros, the nude god shown seated on a tall rock, and holding a mirror. His partially open wings behind, a sprig growing next to him and two rosettes in the field. With elegant high arching handle, slender neck, and pouring channel with molded tiny masks that flank the base of the spout. Frond design beneath vase handle and curled foliage flanking.

Condition: Intact and in excellent condition overall. A very fine example.
