A Red-Figure Xenonware Oinochoi with Swan, Magna Grecia, ca. 4th century BC

The small pottery pouring vessel sits on low ring base, with trefoil rim and attached strap handle behind, the bulbous body features a charming red-figure painted swan centre front, surrounded by horizontal, vertical and parallel lines, creating a portraiture effect. 

Condition: Complete, and in excellent condition overall.
