A fine pair of gold figural Eros earrings, Hellenistic Period, 4th-3rd Century BC

Of solid cast gold, each depicted nude with his wings upraised, his hands on his hips, a bandolier embellished with granulation worn across his chest, arching backwards, the band above his head twisted and joined into one at the back.

Dimensions: Length: 1 inch (2.54 cm)

Condition: Intact and in very good condition overall

Provenance:  Cederlind private collection, Portland OR assembled during the 1960's.
