An Egyptian Wooden Model Hand, Third Intermediate Period, ca. 1069-945 B.C.

probably from a wood coffin, the wood hand carved as a fist holding a partial funerary amulet. With dowel holes for attachment.

Dimensions: height: 4 1/8 inches (10.5 cm), width: 4 3/8 inches (11.11 cm)

Condition: loose piece at the back, otherwise intact and in very good condition overall. Presented on a museum quality custom mount.

Provenance: The Simonian Family Collection of Ancient Art, Switzerland, acquired in the 1960's and then by descent, legally imported into the USA in 2016.
