An Egyptian Linen Wrapped Falcon Mummy with X-Ray, Ptolemaic Period ca 332 - 30BC

the mummified bird firstly dipped in hot liquid resin then tightly wrapped in linen bandages of criss-cross design using two different weaves of light and dark brown cloth, the head and face constructed of a fine, tan colored tightly woven cloth and has markings in black ink, the artificial eyes and beak of embossed linen, the striped wig of alternating dark brown and tan linen begins as a triangle above the beak and expands down the back of the head. 

Condition:  The wrappings constructed with much skill, are intact and in excellent condition overall.
