An Egyptian Faience Shabti for Imintet, 21st Dynasty ca. 1069-945 BCE

of pale, blue-glazed faience, shown mummiform with details in black pigment, wearing a tripartite wig, secured by a black filet, the crossed arms with clenched hands each holding agricultural tools for work in the afterlife, an vertical column of text at the front reads: 

"The Osiris Imintet, true of voice."

Condition:  Expected small chips to the nose, left hand and scattered to the body that do not detract, otherwise intact and in very good condition overall.

Dimensions: Height: 10.16cm (4in).

Provenance: Dr. Benson Harer private collection, acquired at auction in 1991 after deaccession from a Maryland museum.
