An Egyptian Offering Relief Fragment, Late Period, ca 664-332 B.C.

With a lizard sculpted in raised relief, the elliptical body with slightly raised head, the legs splayed.  The fragment is possibly from an offering tray for  the lizard depicts the word "many".

Condition: Professionally rejoined, overall very good with nice detail, minor weathering.  Custom mounted.

: Height: 6 1/4in (16cm); Width (Without Mount): 8 1/4in (21cm).

Provenance:  Dr. Ulrich Mueller private collection, Switzerland acquired between 1968-1978.
