Engraved with two columns of hieroglyphs, "The Son of Re, Khakaure." Right: "The Good God, Lord of Crowns, Nimaatre." Khakaure and Nimaatre being the prenomens of Sesostris III and Amenemhet III, respectively.
Background: In scholastic circles, there has been some question as to whether there was the traditional co-regency between this father and son with few references found so this important seal supports the discussion for such a joint rulership.

Condition: Intact and in very good condition overall, deeply carved, one side weathered so text does not roll but carving can be seen well on the seal, otherwise the text crisp and clear.
