A papyrus fragment inscribed in Coptic comprising two lines of text in the Sahidic dialect that reads:

(1) three garments, three (hair-cloth) sacks [ - - - ]
?, one sack (corn measure), forty [ - - - ]

Transcribed by Walter E. Crum, Short texts from Coptic ostraca and Papyri, London 1921, under no. 126 https://www.trismegistos.org/text/83511), fragment 1, "List of Clothes etc". Following current Coptological practice, the papyrus is called P. CrumST 126.

Condition: Fragmentary as described, overall in very good condition.

Dimensions:  Actual length of fragment:  3 1/2 inches (8.9 cm)

Provenance: Sir Thomas Phillipps collection, Cheltenham, purchased from Guglielmo Libri in 1862, translated by Walter E. Crum, London 1921 and thereafter Monty (1921-2019) and Barbie (-2011) Passes Collection, and thence by descent.
